Gracia and Paloma return to Las Sabinas to take care of their father, Emilio. Gracia reunites with Miguel, her youthful love, who is now engaged to Esther. Tano, Miguel’s brother, was also in love with Gracia and doesn’t stand idly by when he sees her again. Paloma takes charge of the family lands and faces off against the landowner Paca Utrera, who has a sinister plan for the town. Emilio must regain the affection of his daughters, but a terrible secret he shares with Paca makes it difficult. Silvia, the mother of Miguel and Tano, doesn’t want Gracia to stay in Manterana. The young Óscar appears dead under strange circumstances. Manuela must investigate the crime with the help of Álex, Óscar’s brother and a priest.
