Year 1958. Begoña Montes flees through the forest with little Julia, her stepdaughter. Begoña is the new wife of Jesús de la Reina, the golden widower of the region, owner of an important toiletry products company, Perfumerías de la Reina.

Begoña runs with the girl, when Jesús catches up with them and shoots cold-bloodedly. A few months earlier, the events that triggered everything are clarified. Jealousy and fear awaken the beast that Jesús de la Reina carries within and he begins to mistreat Begoña.

To protect herself and escape from this hell, Begoña will start a search that will blow up the good name of the de la Reina family and their ambitious company.
